In this work we present an interactive version of the construction with compass and ruler of the Roman letters suggested by the artist David Lance Goines in his book A Constructed Roman Alphabet: A Geometric Analysis of the Roman Alphabet Including the Greek Characters and the Arabic Numerals. The book won, among other awards, the 1982 AIGA Book Show Award and the 1983 American Book Award (for typography). |
